本作は、個人の実体験に限定されない「共有された文化的記憶」が、いかに懐かしさを喚起するかを検証する没入型のジェネラティブ作品です。観客は「夕暮れ」「田園」「家族団らん」といった語を選び、色の温度や“ほろ苦さ”を操作します。すると画面には多層の丘陵、家々の灯り、ホタル、フィルム粒状が立ち上がり、音響は虫の声や風、遠い汽笛、淡い和声へと自動合成されます。ここで映し出されるのは、誰も実際には見たことがないのに、どこかで共有している心象の原型＝「原風景」。AIはデータの模倣者ではなく、デジタル・フォークロアを生成する媒介として機能し、現代の喪失感に寄り添う新しい郷愁を提案します。

This work explores how shared cultural memory—beyond personal experience—can trigger nostalgia. Visitors choose tags such as “dusk,” “countryside,” and “family,” and adjust parameters for color warmth and bittersweetness. The system synthesizes a multi-layered pastoral scene—hills, distant house lights, fireflies, subtle film grain—while Web-generated audio blends crickets, wind, a faraway train horn, and gentle harmonic pads. What appears is a proto-landscape no one has lived, yet many feel they remember. AI here serves not merely as a reproducer of data, but as a medium for digital folklore, composing a collective myth of home that offers solace to our contemporary sense of loss.
